Hi Madame! :)  So Malta was awesome!  I really had a lot of fun and got LOADS of pictures from there!  I also managed to get my project done for school there.  That was a nightmare! Going up to strangers and asking them to take their picture is not easy haha.  And it's like a game in Malta because there are loads of tourists so first you have to pick out the locals from the tourists and then pick out the locals that speak English :D  It took forever to just get six people!  I haven't put those photos on here because I will probably put them up tomorrow and write what they are about and everything :)  Below are just some of my favorites from the trip :)

I like to take pictures of David because it really annoys him :D and that makes it fun

This was the view from the room at night.  During the day it wasn't as pretty because there was a roof right in front of it but since it's dark here you can't see that :D

Here you will see a meaningless leaf picture :D

This was the bay by the beach at the hotel

This is one of the areas where you could sunbathe if you wanted and it was really quite cool and i like these because I think they look retro :D

This is the Popeye village which they used to make the Popeye movie.  I've never seen it but it looked cool :D

This picture was at Gnenja (not sure if i spelled that right) Bay and it was in the middle of nowhere!  David rented a car for us to drive around and the drivers there are SO HORRIFICALLY BAD at driving :D  They will stop in the middle of a highway and get out and leave the door open! It's just ridiculous!

These were taken in Mdina which is the old capital and it's a really awesome walled city. I loved it and everything was so picturesque :) I had a thing for these doors :D

This looks like something that is hanging on the wall in my kitchen :D

They had lemon trees growing in gardens in the city

They still have post boxes and phone boxes that look English because they were under British control until 1964? maybe 1967 i'm not sure :D

These were taken by the man who was driving around the horse carriage which me and David went on :D It was so much fun and it really felt like you were in a different time period because the city had barely any signs of modern century stuff :D

This was Soloman's Palace which was near where we stayed up on a hill and it was deserted and quite creepy but also pretty cool :D

There were cats all over Malta and they were all very friendly and fat :D

Getting this was like pulling teeth! :D  David really doesn't like being in pictures haha but i'm happy with this one :)

There was one really rainy day while we were there and we spent it doing nothing and taking pictures like this :D

So that's about it, I have some more pictures I might add later this week.  Sorry it took so long to send you this but i wanted to get the pictures edited :)

BOWLING :)

This is a video of a few clips from when David and I went bowling with his sister and her boyfriend last weekend.  It cuts out some of my funny/horrible bowling but I think from this sample you should be able to tell who was in last place at the end :D

Stop Motion

for my not so amazing ABC stop motion :D
For one of our drawing assignments we had to go around where i live and do rubbings of objects or use found objects to create a typeface.  I just made rubbings from manhole covers and made this to show the letters.  It's nothing fantastic but I thought I would share :)

Very Long Update :D

Hi Madame! :)  Another late update of sorts here :D  I've been quite busy getting ready for my next project this week and working on some assignments.  I thought I would give you a bit of an update on what I've been doing starting from the latest and going up to the most recent :)

These six images are from my last project for school where I made collages focusing on the theme mechanical vs. botanical and we had to incorporate "experimentation" into them. art school sheesh

These images are from an assignment we had last this past Monday to go out and take stranger pictures of people who were waiting.  I went with a couple of people from my group and it was quite fun but i was tired so it wasn't that great haha :D

These pictures are from another portrait assignment we had to take pictures of one of the other people in our group in different emotions for our sketchbooks.  This is Aylin who is also one of my flat mates.  She is swiss and very very funny :D

This thing was something I found on Friday when I wandered around London looking at art galleries.  I ended up in a super super rich area and I have no idea how I even got there :D  This gallery was full of animals covered in diamonds and jewels.  It was quite bizarre :D  And then I got into this Palladium of Art and Design show for free with my student card!  Student cards have so much power over here haha

That's my update for now :)  Today I spent with David waiting in line for him to get the new iphone 4s for an hour and a half! sheesh!  but they handed out snacks to people waiting and once you got inside they gave you starbucks gift cards for waiting and it only took 5 minutes to set up the phone so it was quite good overall :)

Hi Madame! Sorry it's been a while since my last update! I've been super busy working on my project lately.  I will upload pictures of that soon hopefully :)  These are pictures from this past weekend.  David and I went to Saint Paul's hoping to climb to the top for pictures but it cost £30 to get in! So we just took pictures from the outside and went to the Tate right across the millennium bridge.  That was alright but art museums always get a bit boring after a while :D  And then we had tiramisu for dessert at dinner :D Hopefully I will have more pictures for you soon and David and I are going to Malta in a couple of weeks for a holiday and to work on my next project! So fingers crossed the weather stays nice there :D

Saint Paul's

David pretending to be artsy in an empty room at the Tate :D

and then being not so serious :D

there was a mirror on the wall as a piece of art?? It was quite strange :D

this one was really cool because it was like an upside down inside out staircase and it took up the whole room.

I really liked the white walls in here :D

Roy Lichtenstein- this was probably the most interesting thing at the Tate I think

Sunset near Blackfriar's Bridge

Sunset behind the oxo tower :)

This is just a crappy phone picture but it's the only one i've managed to get of the two of us since i've been here haha :D
